5月に2週間来日された、Dr.Suzanneからステキなメッセージをいただきました。

 

Dear Hippo Members in Japan,

日本のヒッポのみなさんへ

Since returning home from Japan, I have been trying to compose a note　to everyone that would adequately express my deepest and sincerest　thank yous for the “extraordinary”experiences that I had with everyone　while I was in Japan.

アメリカに帰ってから、私が日本にいる間に経験した‘言葉では表せないほどすばらしい“体験への深い感謝の気持ちをみなさんにどう表現したらいいか考えていました。
Because of who all of you are and what you do, I left with a heart filled with great hope for the world.

みなさんがやっていることのすべてが、私に人類に対する愛と希望を与えてくれました。

 

I also felt so much joy personally. I felt as though I could live in the world in a new way.

また個人的にもうきうき楽しくなりました。新しく生まれ変わったようです。

 

Those feelings have not ebbed* in any way; they continue.
それは今も変わることなく続いています。
Meeting with all the Hippo members from all over Japan is one of the most exhilarating** experiences I have ever had in my life.

日本中から集うヒッポの人たちとの集まりは私の人生でも経験したことのないもっとも爽やかな経験のひとつになりました。

 

You are all so open and generous.

あなたたちは本当にオープンで優しい。

 

You welcome me into your lives in a way that is so rare and precious to me.

皆さんは私を特別に温かく受け入れてくださった。

 

Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul.

ありがとう、ありがとう！心からありがとう。

There is really no way that I can adequately tell you how grateful I am　to everyone in Hippo for all that you do and did for me.

どんなに私がヒッポの皆さんや皆さんのやっていることに感動したか、表現することができないほどです。

You never leave my thoughts and I cannot wait to see you all again soon.

私は忘れない。皆さんにまた早く会いたい。
